Is the postage really free and insured?
Yes, completely. We email you a prepaid, fully insured shipping label - you just drop the box at your nearest Post Office. We carry the transit risk, not you: if anything happens to your Mac on its way to us, you're covered for the full quoted value. It costs you nothing.
Do you buy broken or faulty Macs?
We do - cracked screens, water damage, dead batteries, Macs that won't turn on - as long as it is an Apple Silicon Mac, M1-generation or newer. You get a quote for a faulty machine without emailing photos. The only things we can't buy are Intel Macs and iCloud-locked devices.
What happens to my data?
Every Mac we buy is erased to NIST 800-88 data-sanitisation standards before it goes anywhere near resale. That's the same standard used by government and enterprise IT. We still recommend signing out of iCloud and wiping the machine yourself first - our guides show you exactly how.
What if you revise my quote and I don't agree?
If our inspection finds something the quote didn't cover, we'll email you a revised offer with photos and an explanation. You're free to decline - and if you do, we return your Mac completely free, fully insured, no return-shipping fee. Charging to hand back a Mac you decided not to sell is common in this trade. We never will.
Where in the UK do you buy from?
Everywhere - England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Because everything happens by post, it doesn't matter whether you're in central London or the Scottish Highlands: same free insured label, same prices, same 24-hour payment. Desktop Macs are collected by courier from your door, also free.
Do I need the original box or packaging?
