iPhone 15, 16 and 17
Sell Your iPhone for Cash
The quick answer
We buy the iPhone 15, 16 and 17 families for cash, working or faulty. Pick your model, storage and colour in the form below, answer a few condition questions, and we email you a fixed quote within 2 working hours. Sending is free, by Royal Mail QR code, printed label or a collection from your door, and we pay by bank transfer once your iPhone passes inspection.
iPhones are priced by hand rather than from a table, so the form shows no price for them up front. Your quote is written for your phone as you describe it: model, storage, battery health, screen and body condition, and whether the box and a genuine Apple charger come with it. Selling a Mac as well? The same form handles MacBook Pro, MacBook Air and every other Apple Silicon Mac.

Which iPhones do we buy?
14 models across three families, exactly as the form lists them. Each family page shows the storage tiers and colours the form offers, what we check at inspection and the details that move a quote for that generation.
The iPhone 14 and older are not in our list, and nor is the iPhone 18 Pro that Apple announced on 9 September 2026. If you are upgrading to one, the phone you are replacing is the one to quote.
How is an iPhone quote worked out?
Start with the phone itself: model, storage and colour, which you can read in Settings, General, About. Then the condition questions. Does it turn on? Is the screen cracked? Has liquid been spilled on it? Is anything not working, such as the battery, Face ID, the cameras, the back glass, the buttons, the speaker or microphone, or the charging port? What does Settings, Battery, Battery Health show? And does it look like new, or does it have normal scratches and marks?
Up to four photos are optional, and the form notes they get you a firmer price. A person reads your answers and writes the quote, which reaches your inbox within 2 working hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:00 UK time) and stays locked for 14 days. You are under no obligation to accept it.
How do sending and payment work?
Accept the quote and we send what you chose in the form the same day: a Royal Mail QR code to show at any Post Office counter, a prepaid label to print at home, or a free collection from your door. Sending is free and insured. Pack the phone in a small padded box with the original box or genuine Apple charger only if you ticked them in the form; keep your case.
When it arrives we check it against your description and pay by bank transfer within 24 hours of it passing inspection. See how it works for the full sequence, which is the same for iPhones and Macs.
What should you do before you send your iPhone?
- Back up to iCloud or a computer, and move your photos and messages to your new phone.
- If you have an Apple Watch, unpair it from this iPhone first.
- Sign out of your Apple Account in Settings, tapping your name, then Sign Out. This turns off Find My and Activation Lock. With Stolen Device Protection on, do it at home or work: away from familiar places, signing out needs Face ID and a one-hour security delay.
- Erase the phone in Settings, General, Transfer or Reset iPhone, Erase All Content and Settings, and choose to erase the eSIM too. Your plan carries on until you move or cancel it with your network.
- Remove any physical SIM card and take off the case.
Each step, with Apple's own instructions linked, is in our guide to preparing an iPhone for sale. If the screen is cracked or the battery is weak, say so in the form: an honest description is what keeps the quote fixed when the phone arrives.
Should you trade in with Apple or sell for cash?
Apple Trade In pays in credit against a new Apple device or as an Apple Gift Card, not cash. That suits you if you are buying from Apple anyway. If you want money in your bank account, or you are buying your next phone somewhere else, a cash quote is the one to compare. Our Apple Trade In vs cash guide sets the two side by side without guesswork.

Selling an iPhone - FAQs
Everything sellers ask us before posting their Mac - answered straight.
Which iPhones do you buy?
We buy the iPhone 15, iPhone 16 and iPhone 17 families: the standard, Plus, Pro and Pro Max models, plus the iPhone 16e, iPhone 17e and iPhone Air. Older iPhones are not in our buying list, so the form only offers models we can quote. Choose yours by model, storage and colour.
Why is there no price table for iPhones?
Every iPhone is priced by hand. Storage, colour, battery health and condition move the value more than a single table can show, so instead of an average figure you get a fixed quote for your own phone by email within 2 working hours. The quote is the amount we pay if the phone matches your description.
Does Find My need to be off before I send my iPhone?
Yes. Sign out of your Apple Account, which turns off Find My, then erase the phone in Settings, General, Transfer or Reset iPhone. You can ask for a quote with Find My still on, but we can only pay once the iPhone is signed out of iCloud. We send the steps with your quote.
How do I send my iPhone to you?
Sending is free. In the form you choose how: a Royal Mail QR code you show at any Post Office with no printer needed, a prepaid label you print at home, or a free collection from your door. Once you accept your quote, we send the code, label or collection booking the same day.
When do I get paid for my iPhone?
We pay by bank transfer within 24 hours of your iPhone passing inspection. Inspection checks that the phone matches what you told us in the form: model, storage, condition, battery health and that it is signed out of iCloud. An accurate description is what keeps the quote fixed.
Can I sell a cracked or broken iPhone?
Yes, if it is an iPhone 15, 16 or 17. The form has answers for a cracked screen or back glass, a battery that will not hold charge, Face ID, camera, button, speaker and charging-port faults, liquid damage and phones with no power. A fault changes the quote, not whether we buy.
