The 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max left Apple's line-up in September 2024, and the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus in September 2025. An iPhone 15 is now two or three years old, which is why condition and battery health say more about its quote than its launch price does.

Why does our iPhone list start at the iPhone 15?
The iPhone 15 family was the first with USB-C instead of Lightning, and the first where every model, not just the Pro, has the Dynamic Island. It is the oldest generation in our buying list, which runs from the iPhone 15 to the iPhone 17 families. Anything older is not listed in the form, so you will not be asked to describe a phone we cannot buy.
Does it matter whether I have a 15 or a 15 Pro?
Yes, more than in later years. The 15 and 15 Plus use the A16 Bionic chip and keep the Ring/Silent switch. The 15 Pro and Pro Max have the A17 Pro chip, a titanium frame in Natural, Blue, White or Black Titanium, and the Action button in place of the switch.
The 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max are also the oldest iPhones that support Apple Intelligence; the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus do not. For storage, the 15 and 15 Plus came in 128GB, 256GB or 512GB, the 15 Pro in 128GB up to 1TB, and the 15 Pro Max from 256GB up to 1TB. Settings > General > About confirms both the model name and the capacity.
Is a two or three-year-old battery a problem?
Not for selling to us. Apple says batteries in the iPhone 15 range are designed to keep 80 percent of their original capacity at 1000 complete charge cycles under ideal conditions, and real phones vary with how they have been charged. Check Settings > Battery > Battery Health and pick the matching band. If the phone says Service, choose "Under 80% or Service": it is quoted, not turned away. What wear do we look for on an iPhone 15?
On the Pro models, the brushed titanium edges show dents and bright scuffs at the corners. On the 15 and 15 Plus, the colour-infused back glass can crack under a case without the owner noticing. On every model, check the USB-C port for lint (a phone that charges only at an angle belongs under "Charging port") and the camera lenses for scratches that show up in photos. None of this stops a sale; it simply needs to be in your description, because the quote you accept is the one we pay when the phone matches it.

Do you buy the iPhone 14 or older?
No. Our form lists the iPhone 15, 16 and 17 families only, so the iPhone 14 and older models are not in it. If you are selling a newer iPhone and a Mac at the same time, the same form quotes Apple Silicon Macs as well.
Does the iPhone 15 Pro Max come in 128GB?
No. The iPhone 15 Pro Max starts at 256GB, and the form lists 256GB, 512GB and 1TB. The iPhone 15 Pro is the one with a 128GB option. If you are unsure which you have, Settings, General, About shows the model name and capacity.
My iPhone 15 battery says Service. Is it still worth selling?
Yes. Choose "Under 80% or Service" for battery health and, if it no longer holds a charge, tick "Battery won't hold charge" as well. A worn battery is quoted, not refused, and an honest answer keeps the quote fixed when the phone arrives.
Can I sell an iPhone 15 with Find My still on?
You can ask for a quote, but we can only pay once the phone is signed out of iCloud. The form asks about Find My and we send the steps with your quote. Signing out and erasing takes a few minutes if you know your Apple Account password.
