Which iPhone 16 details change the quote most?
Model and capacity come first. This is the last family we buy where most models start at 128GB: the iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16e and 16 Pro all came in 128GB, while the 16 Pro Max starts at 256GB. The 16 Pro has four storage tiers, so picking the right one matters more than a light scuff. Settings > General > About shows both the model name and the capacity.
The Pro models use a titanium frame in Black, White, Natural or Desert Titanium, with Desert new to this generation. The 16 and 16 Plus come in Black, White, Pink, Teal or Ultramarine with colour-infused back glass, where a crack is easy to miss under a case. Take the case off and check the back before you answer the condition questions.
Does Camera Control need checking before I sell?
Yes. Every iPhone 16 except the 16e has Camera Control, the sapphire-covered button low on the right-hand side that responds to presses and light touches. Open the Camera app and try a press, a light press and a swipe. If it, the Action button or the side button does not respond, tick "Buttons" under "Anything not working?". A button fault is quoted, not refused, and telling us up front keeps the quote fixed when the phone arrives.
How is the iPhone 16e different when you sell it?
The 16e has the A18 chip, Face ID, the Action button and a single 48MP rear camera, but no Camera Control and no MagSafe. It came in Black or White with 128GB, 256GB or 512GB. In the form it sits in the iPhone 16 line, so choose "iPhone 16e" rather than "iPhone 16": the two are different phones and are quoted differently.
Should I replace an iPhone 16 battery before selling?
Usually not. The form asks for battery health in bands (90 to 100%, 80 to 89%, under 80% or Service, or not sure), and a phone with a tired battery is still bought. Paying for a replacement first only makes sense if it adds more to the quote than it costs, which you can find out by asking for a quote as it is. Yes. The form lists the iPhone 16 Pro in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB, and the 16 Pro Max in 256GB, 512GB and 1TB, in Black, White, Natural or Desert Titanium. Choose the capacity that Settings, General, About shows, and your quote is written for that exact configuration.
Do you buy the iPhone 16 Plus and the 16e?
Yes, both. The 16 Plus is listed in 128GB, 256GB and 512GB in all five colours, and the 16e in 128GB, 256GB or 512GB in Black or White. Pick the right one in the form, because the 16, 16 Plus and 16e are separate models and are quoted separately.
My iPhone 16 has a cracked back but the screen is fine. Can I still sell it?

How do I check which iPhone 16 I have?
Open Settings, then General, then About. Model Name shows whether it is an iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, 16 Pro Max or 16e, and Capacity shows the storage. If the phone will not turn on, the model name is printed on the original box.
